Plumber helping a new recruit

REGISTERED APPRENTICESHIPS

A post-secondary education like a college or university, but with a BIG difference! Apprentices learn a portion of their skills in a traditional classroom. However, on-the-job training while working towards a career is most of the program. Apprentices must be employed with and sponsored by an Approved Trainer, such as Steg Plumbing, to attend school.

All registered apprentices start as pre-apprentices in the field. This gives you the opportunity to learn more about what the career is about and also what your average day on the job would look like. Interviews with candidates are conducted twice a year to select individuals to enter the apprenticeship program. To be considered for an apprenticeship, please visit our careers page so you can apply for your Plumbing Pre-Apprentice position today!
