POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Project Director is responsible for overseeing residential projects.  This will require a high level of organization to ensure all critical steps are completed, deadlines are managed, and the Project Managers and team are kept apprised of project updates.  This role will also be responsible for managing orders and tracking spending compared to estimates.

  • Checks builders’ portals and miscellaneous other programs for new job starts
  • Creates electronic job folder and downloads all job documents for the project
  • Responsible for completing plumbing permit of one is required per municipality
  • Adds initial slab/rough/finish dates to Google calendar
  • Files job packets in the appropriate electronic location
  • Updates builders’ schedules on Google calendar
  • Creates the release spreadsheet for purchasing with what jobs need to be scheduled
  • Receives OAS’s from field and works with Project Manger and Project Coordinator to finalize project and schedule material returns
  • Works with Finance team and Project Manager to ensure weekly billings are completed
  • Analyze project profitability, report on findings and recommendations to rectify future jobs
  • Manage incoming change orders and complete job cost worksheets for finance
  • Perform monthly timeline adjustments and projections
  • Provide general support for Project Managers
  • Calls and tracks job additions to ensure change orders are received and processed
  • Calls and tracks jobsite inspections per municipality requirements
  • Review and approve field staff timecards
